Almería enjoys a geographical position and a privileged climate. Located in the south-east of Spain, the Eastern one of the eight Andalusia provinces presents in its 8,774 square kilometres a variety of unusual lanscape which goes from the aridity of the Tabernas desert at the snow covered Nevada Sierra tops.
Its coastal band, with spectacular volcanic beaches and reefs, is the European territory with the less precipitations and the more sun hours a year.
Coastal urbanisations in communes like Roquetas del Mar, Aguadulce, Vera and other coastal places are already known throughout Spain and by a major part of Europe. While in the Alméria East, another major quantity of practically virgin beaches continues existing, at least at the level of construction, which in fact is one of the attractive places for the nature and the lovers sea in its most wild state.
